However, in 1942, by direct order of Tsar Boris the third, the university of sports was established to educated future P.E. teachers of Bulgaria and its surrounding territories. Faculty of Pedagogy:

This faculty, as its name shows, is a faculty involved in teacher education and educating the future teachers of the republic of Bulgaria. This faculty is the oldest faculty of the university.

Faculty of Public health, healthcare, and tourism:

This faculty consists of 7 departments and offers high-quality courses to its students. It is one of the most popular faculties of the university.
